I'm going to close my account on this morally bankrupt cesspit in a few days. @JBHist & I have one more announcement to make tomorrow about a job opportunity on the Victorian Hand project but, after that, if you want to stay in touch, you can follow me at https://t.co/dHIKb2cmA9.
Inheriting the Family examines how people select tangible and intangible tokens of family inheritance, and this process’ impact on identity, through the lens of new methodologies from the history and sociology of emotions.

Akita Cross aged 1-2. This lovely girl was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray.
She has no microchip so we do not know her name or exact date of birth but have aged her around 1 year old and named her Layla. Layla arrived at kennels in a sorry state, she was covered in wounds old and new believed to be dog bites all over her body & the vet suspected her to have a healed fracture on her back leg.
Layla was very well behaved at the vet & let him know examine her thoroughly despite the pain she was in. Layla was prescribed pain relief, antibiotics and daily cleaning of the wounds which are now healing nicely. Initially Layla has a sweet & giddy temperament. Layla is only young and needs all aspects of training. She does pull on the lead and will need a strong confident handler.
Layla tries to stay clean in her kennel but she may need a gentle reminder when it comes to house training. Layla barks at some other dogs in kennels, due to her past she may need to be an only dog until she has further socialisation.
Layla would be best suited to a home without younger children due to her boisterous nature. Layla is such a lovely girl that has had a rough start in life & really deserves to find her forever home to give her all the love she needs.

We are deeply concerned to hear of proposed cuts to the Metropolitan Police Dog Unit as part of a £450 million budget shortfall. 🐶 🚔 Police dogs play an invaluable role in protecting our communities, detecting crime, assisting in high-risk operations, and much more. These highly trained dogs can achieve in minutes what would take officers hours, saving lives and vital resources. We must continue to support these essential units for the safety of Londoners. 💙🇬🇧
IMPORTANT The campaign for a GCSE in Natural History has stalled. Labour see it as a "Conservative initiative" and won't progress it. It is not a political football, every child has the right to learn about the wonder of the natural world. Plse ask you MP to lobby for it now. 🙏
The House of Commons education committee will not be looking into any higher education issues when it announces its first inquiries under the new parliament, I have learned.
One former DfE-er calls it "staggering" given challenges facing universities.
