So I originally booked them thru a third party app that my friends irl who TRAVEL A LOT even to diff countries use. So I found sleep inn and booked **18-19**

They still booked me 17-18

I called the hotel naturally to fix this!!! Problem. No one answered from desk. At all. I called and pressed new reservation line, she said she'd get front desk, and then I was on hold for 17 minutes. Got back to me and she said "I'm sorry we're just going to charge you a no show no one can fix this"

???????? I contacted the actual app. They couldn't refund me but gave 75 credit to the next hotel stay and friends said they'd book me holiday inn (they were lovely after this shitshow)

So they ACCIDENTALLY BOOKED ME AGAIN for sleep inn on this other site they were using.
And I read they have bedbugs. I have severe trauma to an infestation as a child but I said ok I'll just give it a chance. Or maybe they'll let me cancel and refund.

So I tried to even check in and they tried to double charge. Not even "oh we need the card" no. They were going to DOUBLE CHARGE.

Friend asked if he could use his card info and give it over the phone (he did this for me in the past when I was escaping my abusive ex and they booked me a place in Boston)
She declined

He said js cancel it at this point.
I went up and asked if it could just be cancelled
She YELLED AT ME and said "I am sorry but you had to cancel 24 hours before"

"....we booked the hotel today we're within the cancel time"

Said friend irl is a lawyer so asked me to get her name and the name of the manager (was on the phone heard all of this)

I went to ask her name and the managers. The manager immediately stormed out and got angry. No calm "how can I help you"
It was "what is it what do you want" aggressively. I asked for her name and the managers because I'm dissatisfied with my service

"You cannot do that if you cannot know why you're upset then you're stupid"

I told him calmly that I am on the phone with someone who happened to have booked the hotel with me and he wanted to know their names and he got IN MY FACE pointing and screaming at me.

He told me to call (they don't answer and I told him that) and he threatened to call police. My friend told me get out of there.

I went to go get my things to leave and the manager PHYSICALLY GOT IN FRONT OF ME WITH HIS ARMS CROSSED trying to prevent me from leaving. I had to make sure to go around him and make sure to pray that he wouldn't reach out physically or hurt me.

This was a terrifying and traumatic experience and I will ***never*** be using sleep inn as a chain again.

They ended up getting me @HolidayInn for the night instead (lovely service and very needed after what happened)

There were also witnesses that ran to the other hotel when they saw what happened to make sure I was even okay. IF THAT SAYS ANYTHING.

Anthem of the angels has also gotten us thru grief like no other. Dear agony is a fantastic album around grief. It felt so cool to be one of the longer time listenees and when he asked people "even if you don't know the lyrics please just bs it because it would mean a lot" we were one or the ones who don't have to. Not to mention the back of vocalist Aaron Bruch was wearing the exact same shirt we were (Florida 2023 tour shirt) and smiled and gave a thumbs up to us. Made us smile for sure.

💙 Because people are deciding to come forward about Ina in more details I'll do so here after some thought. Because honestly how my system was treated still pisses me off and has hurt the more delicate members such as Starling and Sugar.

First off introduction. My name is Madness. I'm a member of the sprinkle of Hope system and I'm mostly our depression holder. I also am the one to be angry and protective over my system with abusive behaviors or people we're facing by standing in as host when sugar is too hurt, re-traumatized or newly traumatized to do so.

Some people might read what I say and put it up to "system ignorance" but it comes to a point when it goes from ignorance to dismissing any need to learn or grow. And what Ina did to our system was ultimately dismissal and fake claiming implication.

Some unfortunate background about our system and the general system community that some people don't seem to understand or grasp.

Our system is in fact diagnosed, and it was from years of testing and suspection until official confirmation after a series of events that made a headmate of ours more apparently and active for our psychiatric team when we were 19. We're also, a fictional introject heavy system. Meaning about 90% of our system is introjects off of fictional characters and sources because that's how our brain works.

Fictional intoject heavy systems have been a huge point of contention for a lot of people who don't fully grasp the concept of dissociation and plurality. People see it as just roleplay. And unfortunately, that's what Ina personally implied to us.

We are openly a system streamer because we ultimately want our engagement in the community with our streams and showing what it means to be a system and talking about it to destroy stigma and create an open and safe space for other systems. Now that I got all of this out of the way, I'll start with the actual story.

Ina first interacted with us when one of our mutuals decided to put VTIDE in their handle on twitter after vcxnts burned down (thanks assholes). However, before we could even CHANGE THE VCXNTS from our bio we were immediately messaged by Ina screaming at us about how we're trying to be discreet. So naturally, we panicked and apologized. He mutualed followed us and we were invited to the first wave of VTIDE into the server. (Part one)
