Have been an admirer of @greatbong 's writing since I stumbled on his blog in the fossil era of early 2000s Internet. It takes great skill and passion to write one book, but 7 fiction novels, over 15 years, and consistently high quality is a different bar.

It was once again my privilege to read an early preview of his latest book - The Bucket (horror/thriller). While there may be some recency bias here, I think he has raised an already high bar. It helps that he's set his story in the Bengal of the last 30 years, one of his core strengths, with highly identifiable characters for us millennials growing up in Bengal and India of that era.

Go ahead and buy the book. Here's my full review.

Dear Sir,

If the stars had aligned a little differently that day you could have been getting ready for your office farewell now. Planning to take care of those pension forms and finding a post-retirement hobby.

Well, 60 years ago today, the brightest of the stars decided to come to our random planet instead to spread joy, love, and laughter.

You don't know me, Sir. Likely never will. However, as you often say "I will be happy even if I have touched one life" please know that you didn't just touch this life, but gave it guidance, direction, and confidence. A constant during almost the entirety of my 40 odd years.

I have nothing to give someone who has it all. You likely even have every wish that I could wish for you today. So, Happy 60th. Thank the stars for going off-script that day.

The formatting of the "prev close", "day range", "52w range" is non-standard in this decimal points + K format. Can you please use the conventional full numerical value, with 2 decimal places ideally (like you have at the top for the S&P 500 price)?
