That teaser is not enough, it shows nothing.
With that said the thing that changed was the artstyle

You don't even need to move or Dodge in that fight also you saw seconds of a 10 minutes Palworld fight which looks more realistic dimensions wise than Kyogre fight

They could have easily done a Pokémon MMO, swallow their pride, make it available in every platform and bank on it.

They prefer to fill patents and waste money in trying to ruin another game
