He says, "...We have seen how, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when India had no vaccine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with his determination and courage, led the development of one. On that basis, I have written to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, requesting that all possible efforts be made to find a cure for LAMA2-CMD disease. I am confident that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will certainly intervene in this matter"
