@WelshGovernment Joyhoovers - happy to spoil other people’s enjoyment if it doesn’t match their own predilections. What next: banning horse racing, equestrianism, long distance running, pillow fights
@Meliden@WalesOnline I don’t know who we’ll have as FM, but labour have had a 25 year chance and blown it. I worry about who might replace them, but the current shower aren’t coping or making Wales a better place to live and work so it’s a bit of an open goal for a populist party to step in.
@PrifWeinidog@10DowningStreet Have you:
1. asked him about the £4bn HS2 money?
2. What about us having responsibility for the taxes that are higher for Cardiff Airport flights?
3. If he is wearing a suit he bought with his own money
4. Can he get you a comp for next year’s Stereophonics gig in Cardiff
Labour UK Government “we’ve a £22bn black hole and need to make savings”
Labour Welsh Government “let’s splash an extra £1.2m a year on more politicians”.
In Wales we do things differently 🤦🏻♂️
We do NOT need more useless politicians in the Senedd! https://t.co/LaBDE0t5Tv
@leucarum@Eluned_Morgan Look forward to more snouts in the trough, more failure of public services, less of an enjoyable life for millions in Wales, no ambulances to take people to hospital, more pollution in our waters. Shall I go on? Yahoo, can’t wait 🙌
@AndrewRTDavies 2/2 more Senedd members 🤦♂️🤷♂️ at a time when money is short for NHS etc why spend tax payers money on additional representation. The Senedd has hardly covered itself in glory in the first 25 years so the people of Wales won’t thank the Senedd for putting more snouts in the trough
@AndrewRTDavies 1/2Two issues: first WFP. I actually agree it should only be paid to those that need it most.If the qualifying criteria of those in receipt of pension credit is the best way of identifying recipients, thats good enough for me and get those that aren’t on it but should be on it.
@Adrian796017815@WelshGovernment Although no vampires to be slayed/ slain 🤷♂️ in WG, certainly there are a number of old relics who should make room for someone else to have a go. Sadly, it’s hard to see how they could do any worse. Lifelong labour supporter reviewing allegiances 🤔😥
@RhunapIorwerth@Plaid_Cymru Outside the political bubble, the vast majority of people I have spoken to don’t understand the need for more politicians, support staff and civil servants at a time of fiscal struggle. Timing of this change is poor and risks being seen as making a bigger trough for more snouts.
@ffotograffics6@AndrewRTDavies The majority of people in Wales either didn’t want an Assembly or couldn’t be bothered to vote, hardly a glowing endorsement for the democratic process. We get what we deserve.
@WillWalrdle@AndrewRTDavies You say that as if £18m isn’t a large amount of money. How much could that money improve other public services beyond making the trough bigger for more snouts.
@mikeytccfc@bethanmsayed Echo sentiments but I don’t have a baby goat I have children😉. Listen to Cats in the Cradle - Harry Chapin -to get a glimpse of future if you don’t spend time with them when they’re young. Money pressures on parents are huge but we’ve lost something about family over the years.
@cymru_inquiry@vaughangething@MarkDrakeford I find it difficult that Vaughan the Yawn and allies are getting away without proper scrutiny of the way Wales responded to the pandemic. We had a Wales response to the crisis as UK Govt were incompetent but don’t want to be held accountable for our actions/decisions/outcomes.🤷♂️
@cymru_inquiry@vaughangething@covidinquiryuk@WelshGovernment Vaughan the Yawn 🥱 evading answering questions back in 2017 and has made a career of doing the same ever since. When will we see a politician of real standing emerge in Wales at a national level - they’re rarer than hen’s teeth at the moment.
@Phoebejoy1611 Vaughan the Yawn will always talk people into a stupor and get away with anything he puts his mind to because they will have lost the will to live by the time he stops patronising them.
