It's really sad because if we had elected a normal president, the 250th anniversary of our country would have been a really cool celebration of everything that makes this country great.
Instead, we get one miserable, unpopular asshole inserting himself into every little thing and making it about himself.
And it was entirely predictable if you had a pulse the past 10 years. Oh well...
THE INSANELY RIGGED ECONOMY
Yesterday, while tens of millions of families were struggling to pay for rent, food, healthcare, childcare and gas, seven of Trump's oligarchic friends became $210 billion richer. Not last week. Not over the past decade. In less than 24 hours, these 7 men, the wealthiest people on earth, became $210 billion richer.
Incredibly, since Trump was elected on November 5, 2024, these 7 men, all Big Tech Oligarchs, have become more than $1.5 trillion richer and are now collectively worth over $2.8 trillion. Meanwhile, we have the highest rate of childhood poverty of any other wealthy nation, young adults have a lower standard of living than their parents and over 20% of our seniors are trying to survive on an annual income of $15,000 a year or less.
Yes. We are living in an oligarchy.
A Good Day for Trump’s Friends:

Yesterday, Jeff Bezos, the fourth richest man in the world, gained $6.96 billion in wealth and is now worth $267 billion. He’s worth $46 billion more than on Election Day.
Yesterday, Larry Ellison, the fifth wealthiest man in the world, gained $8.92 billion in wealth and is now worth $247 billion. He’s worth $63 billion more than on Election Day.
Yesterday, Michael Dell, the sixth richest man in the world, got $5.86 billion richer and is now worth $218 billion. He’s worth $101 billion more than on Election Day.
Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg, the seventh richest man in the world, gained $9.16 billion in wealth and is now worth $211 billion. He’s worth $8 billion more than on Election Day.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said it best: “Call it democracy or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all of God’s children.”
They withdrew from the negotiations days ago, they announced it publicly.
Congress has put him in his place, and all he knows how to do is keep lying.
Failure in Iran, failure in Ukraine, failure in the US—this guy is a first-class failure.
Opportunist, shameless, brazen liar, traitor.
экшуалли эти видео неплохая иллюстрация что гомофобия это намеренное действие и каждодневный выбор постоянной ненависти разъедающей твой мозг до состояния плесени и что в результате это только усложнит твою жизнь
If you think about it, he’s getting the end he deserves. His discomfort and indignity and rapid decline exposed on camera every single day. No-one cares about him enough to stop this, and let him fade away in private. Surrounded by jackals, feeding off him to get what they want. Dragged out in front of crowds at rallies for people who he wouldn’t let clean his swimming pool.
Inflation is at a three-year high. Everything costs more — groceries, gas, healthcare, a plane ticket.
The math is simple. Every American dollar spent overseas on war is a dollar that could’ve been spent here at home to pay for a dignified life. It's time we change the equation.
We cannot have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.
Democrats: "If you redo the TX maps we're going to redo other states."
Republicans: "Suck it libtards. Cope."
Democrats: "Ok, so we're doing CA and VA."
Republicans: "Wait.. no. What? This is the end of America. Stop. You guys are mean."
Donald Trump is a reflection of what America has become: a nation comprised primarily of uneducated, arrogant, racist buffoons without a conscience or even basic social skills, scamming their way thru life with impunity while believing that laws apply only to other people.
Even if Trump is "bluffing," the US may never come back from this. Whether you voted for him or not, the rest of the world sees this guy as our collective will. To everyone else, we are a landmass teeming with viciousness. We have a very high bar to prove that's not true.
Feminism benefits men too by breaking gender norms, roles and stereotypes, because it allows everyone the freedom of being themselves.
(Also you cannot be a feminist if you exclude trans people)
