@blakecallens@douglaswils "It is an official title, as it were, a designation of his rank and position, just as among humans, all of whom participate in the same nature, there are nevertheless distinctions of social standing and honor." (3/3)
@blakecallens@douglaswils "...possess the same being and the same attributes by communication. The name "god," ascribed to the Father in particular, means that in the divine economy he is first.(2/3)
@blakecallens@douglaswils No. You are forgetting that for God, order is part of nature. "Paternity, filiation, and procession, so far from being accidental properties of the divine being, are the eternal modes of existence of, and the eternal immanent relations within, that being." — Bavinck, RD 2
@blakecallens@douglaswils I don't think that's clarifying. We are talking about this, rather: "Because the Son is begotten by the Father, it is fitting for the Son to be sent by the Father." — Augustine, On the Trinity, IV.20
"Police forces ignored repeated reports, criminalised victims instead of perpetrators, destroyed evidence, and allowed known rapists to walk free on bail. Social care services undermined protective parents, placed children in trafficking hubs inside children’s homes, closed cases despite clear indicators of exploitation, and retaliated against whistleblowers. The NHS recorded genital injuries, multiple sexually transmitted infections in children as young as 13, pregnancies caused by rape, and suicide attempts, yet discharged victims back to their abusers without safeguarding referrals or trauma care. Schools observed older men collecting girls at the gates, heard disclosures of rape on school premises, and responded by excluding victims rather than protecting them."
I hold a very high bar for the right to revolt against your magistrate, but if the electoral process in Britain doesn't remove the regime that allowed (or more properly advanced) this protracted atrocity and they remain in power, I'd say it's time for the lower magistrate to lead the British people against their incredibly corrupt oppressors.
Every drop of the blood of billions of aborted babies cries out from the ground for the vengeance of God. It is God's Own image which mothers have destroyed, and the day will soon arrive when the ground will yield it all up for His reckoning and vengeance.
Keep it firmly in mind that much of this blood belongs to the Church's covenant children.
@LostMyHats I sure hope people marry in order to honor God, have a good wife or husband and the companionship that follows, make babies, avoid immorality, etc. I sure hope "memorializing their ancestors in the flesh" is pretty far down the list, as cool as that might be.
Do you mourn for the babies frozen, then imprisoned in steel containers for years and decades? Mark your calendar now, and if you're in the DC area, go. If you're not, join the livestream (link below). -TB

“Defending Life at Conception, and in the Constitution” is the title of an October 9th symposium at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Speakers will discuss embryo adoption, moral options for frozen embryos, and the Constitutional right to life.
It is open to all interested, and to the press and media.
The two keynote speakers are:
Allan Parker, Esq., President of The Justice Foundation, who will discuss: “Recognizing the Right to Life in the Constitution” and
Dr. Elizabeth Rex of the Donum Vitae Institute, who will examine “Is Embryo Adoption a Moral Option for Frozen ‘Orphans’”
The Moderator will be Dr. Hadley Arkes, president of the James Wilson Institute on Natural Rights and the American Founding.
"Reciprocal IVF" is popular among lesbian couples so they can both claim some aspect of biological motherhood.
(Note that biology in IVF only matters when adult want it to.)
No surprise, it raises risks to babies.

'Because of same-sex “marriage,” children are now routinely starved of maternal or paternal love, acquired by predators, mass produced, and trafficked across borders. They struggle with identity confusion and are subjected to risky households.' https://t.co/m9xZBlxmHZ
When I critiqued pictures like this in 2018 the overwhelming response was, "all I see is two loving parents."
No longer.
Now it's more like:
"This is cruel, children need their mother."
"My politics is whatever makes this illegal"
"That poor baby."
In the marriage & family world, the vibe shift is not from left to right, it is from seeing the adults as victims to understanding that children are the victims.
@PatienceSunne sparked an important conversation in her recent thread, and our team expanded it into a full article. Do you know what fertility fraud is and how deep and wide this problem runs when it comes to children’s rights?

There are those who speak against the adoption of little ones imprisoned in freezers saying such adoptions are bad "ethically" and inevitably entail supportive involvement in the IVF industry.
Just said to me on socials in connection with the post about the baby born who is thirty-one years old already, and I responded:
A life imprisoned is a life. Period. "Rescue the perishing," Scripture commands those who belong to God. What more compassionate act of love for Jesus could one find than offering a little one imprisoned in a freezer one's own warm and nurturing womb? Inasmuch as we do it to the least of these, we do it to Him. Adoption of these little ones is godliness.
Drew Kingma of Calvary Hills Baptist Church makes a motion to add an amendment to Resolution 6, calling for those who have participated in chemical abortions (via Plan B, Birth control pills) to repent and confess the sin of murder.
The amendment failed.
The internet is a balkanization of the populace. We all find men we like listening to.
So it’s close to impossible to teach the man whose principal input is internet mavens.
Flesh-and-blood pastors see a man's sins. They know his wife and children.
On the opposite side, a man can’t escape his own pastor's bad breath.
But on the internet, everything and everyone is perfect. https://t.co/QIvx2kNvX6
