East Africa has been a global leader in taking action to tackle single-use plastics. Since #Rwanda first banned plastic bags in 2008, #Uganda, #Burundi, #Kenya, #Tanzania, #DRC and #SouthSudan have adopted legislation against certain #singleuseplastics

As #CHOGM kicks off in Rwanda, our partners @alnafrica, have been given the opportunity (thanks to @TheICCFGroup) to present our proposed Bill for harmonised plastic legislation in East Africa.
