Since we passed the Affordable Care Act, Republicans have tried over and over to repeal it. And over and over, they’ve failed — in part because millions of people now depend on the ACA for quality, affordable health care.
Now Republicans are trying something different: quietly weakening the law and hoping you won’t notice. We can’t let them.

An internal Social Security Administration memo, dated March 13, lays out a plan to sabotage the agency.
The memo itself predicts "service disruption," "operational strain," and "budget shortfalls" will result.
Follow this thread for details.
CALL TO ACTION:
Everyone should call their members of Congress (202) 224-3121.
Tell them that cuts to the Social Security Administration are cuts to Social Security.
Tell them that you value your local Social Security field office.
Rep. Richard Neal: The average benefit is $24,000. That means half the people who get Social Security get less than $24,000 a year.
That's less than 400 bucks a week.
So for me, not a dime to be cut from Social Security, not a dime.
"Ultimately, you're going to see the system collapse and an interruption of benefits," O'Malley said. "I believe you will see that within the next 30 to 90 days."
Social Security first then Medicare closely follows…
Start saving all the money you can.
#SocialSecurity#medicare
Make a huge mistake. Then make a false claim about how you fixed it.
They did it for PEPFAR.
Now Ebola.
I follow this particular topic VERY closely, so here's what really happened and why this isn't true AT ALL...🧵
If you think MAGA Republicans aren’t coming for Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security listen to this chucklefuck. Rep Mike Flood (R-NE) gives away the whole game right here, we need to get loud and tell this asshat to keep his #HandsOffOurMedicaid
Buried in the flurry of Executive Orders last night is one that halts all funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Yes, the law that Republicans and Democrats came together to pass that fixes our roads, modernizes old bridges, and makes drinking water safer.
Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde: "The vast majority of immigrants are not criminals. They pay taxes and are good neighbors...may I ask you to have mercy Mr. President on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away."
11) From the list of rescinded executive orders by the Trump White House, you see that EO14087 has been rescinded. So now you have it. Trump just made prescription drugs more expensive for Americans who use Medicare. I hope the Trump voters on Medicare are happy now. And⬇️
🚨I routinely hear from patients with pain and a history of opioid receipt who are cut loose by doctors, or who lose access to a prescriber and can’t find a new one
The situation presents an obvious risk to safety and well-being of those patients and their families.
It should shock the conscience of every person in health care that we continue to do (almost) nothing about it.
I recommend registering for the upcoming December 3 session on Pain Refugees.
