@Romy_Holland @queenwartooth People do fully face that. At a minimum, my job is to give my kids a responsible, loving, involved co-parent. If I can't do that, I don't have kids. If that means never having bio kids, I am at peace with that.

@toylan20 It's mostly weight, but height is also a factor. Taller people have a larger surface area and more organ mass, so they will burn slightly more calories even at the same weight. I'm 5'0" 120lbs, so my body just laughs at my attempts to burn calories. It all adds up- just slowly.

@Jainadave_ You start paying more attention to things you ignored before or didn't even know were attainable. It makes sense that all that attention won't be 100% positive. Also, the more you accomplish, the more room there is to grow. The bar is continually raised.
