Do you know the reality of Sonam Wangchuk.
The Home Ministry had cancelled the FCRA licence of the NGO run by Sonam Wangchuk, called SECMOL, which was receiving funds from mainly USA and China. Despite this, SECMOL continued to receive funds through foreign entities through hidden pathways, cards, and unauthorized networks.
Amit Shah brought new rules for FCRA in June 2026.
Immediately after the new rules of FCRA were imposed, Sonam Wangchuk joined the CJP protest on a hunger strike on June 28, 2026.
Connect the dots.
Sonam Wangchuk, who is credited for creating vertical, cone shaped ice towers, (Ice Stupas) for which he won the Rolex Awards for Enterprise in 2016, essentially copied the ice stupa concept from Chewang Norphel, another Ladakhi.
Chewang Norphel was the first to invent the concept of making artificial glaciers, ice stupas and providing water to Ladakh & by 2012, he had made 12 such glaciers with the total cost of only 90,000 rupees. For this work,
Norfil won the Jamnalal Bajaj award for Application of Science and Technology for Rural Development for constructing these ice stupas in 2010.
He was also awarded the Padma Shri by the President of India in 2015.
Listen to this.....
I just hope this brave girl reaches home safely 🙏
Question - What are you here for?
Sakshi singh -
"I am a general student and I saw Sonam Wangchuk at Jantar Mantar. He was simply walking to use the washroom and some people were mocking him with jokes about secretly eating food.
I felt sad for him then but when I came to the stage, I saw Abhijeet Dipke eating all kinds of food, CJP leaders dancing on stage while Sonam sir was struggling even to sleep. I saw Prakash Raj telling students who had come for the NEET protest not to say "Jai Shri Ram." I saw Arundhati Roy, who has said Kashmir is not part of India, present there. I heard leaders saying "Jai Bhim will rule this nation." I saw a woman telling every student to believe in Allah. I saw Kunal Kamra making fun of my gods.
Now I wonder, is this really a NEET protest? These people are using Sonam sir and the students to push their own personal agendas."
It really takes guts to speak truth while being surrounded by cjp goons 👏
Serial liar does not even know that Sonam is an engineer and not a scientist. This is a party which committed a huge fraud in Delhi in the name of education
#WATCH | Delhi: AAP Delhi President Saurabh Bharadwaj says, "Whoever comes new (education minister), it is possible that they might not turn out well, too. The question that was on everyone's mind... don't just replace Dharmendra Pradhan with Nitin Gadkari or Smriti Irani. If you appoint a scientist like Sonam Wangchuk as the country's Education Minister, it will send a powerful message to the entire world... People see a reflection of Gandhi ji in Sonam Wangchuk, a man undertaking 'Satyagraha' and willing to sacrifice his life for the country, trying to make this government heed his demands through non-violence. We, too, echo what Arvind Kejriwal said: we want everyone - opposition parties, student leaders, various organisations, social groups - to come on the 20th and march towards Parliament."
When asked if Arvind Kejriwal is going to join the protest at Jantar Mantar on the 20th, he says, "I haven't spoken to Arvind ji specifically about this, but I will certainly come. Sanjay Singh has confirmed he will come. Our people will definitely come, and we want everyone to join in."
@AamAadmiParty@hkollar Just a very small fact that they will never mention is that Jinnah’s daughter Dinah was estranged from her father due to his divisive politics and married against his choice. They were not even on speaking terms with each other.
@Sadafsayeed Surprising post from a finance professional. No mention of the exchange rate, no mention of corresponding fiscal deficit and inflation figures.
I want to take a moment to thank Abhijeet Dipke.
For 19 days now, he has been teaching this nation a masterclass.
Not in exam reform.
In something more valuable.
He flew in from Boston. Unemployed.
To save India's students.
Then handed the mic to Allah.
Kashmir.
RSS.
Umar Khalid.
Wait.
Where is Dharmendra Pradhan?
Well.
He is not generating any TRP.
And he is having fun continuing as Education Minister.
Turns out the fastest way to save a minister's job is to hire professional protestors.
Pradhan should be sending flowers to Jantar Mantar.
Maybe Pradhan hired Abhijeet Dipke.
Nobody even remembers his name is on the placards anymore.
Special mention to Sonam Wangchuk.
Came for a guest appearance.
Stayed to become the whole show.
19 days without food. Visibly.
While everyone else on that stage eats on schedule.
And the menu is incredible.
Continental on Monday.
Chinese on Tuesday.
Hyderabadi on Wednesday.
American on Thursday.
Repeat.
With desserts.
Tea.
Coffee.
Imagine fasting for 19 days next to a buffet you're not invited to.
Every speaker walks up.
Says a few lines about Allah.
Ambedkar.
Kashmir.
RSS.
Umar Khalid.
Then walks off to eat.
Wangchuk stays.
Hungry.
Foolish.
Watching.
Wondering if anyone even remembers what this started as.
At some point even the most patient man starts doing math.
If Wangchuk could speak freely right now.
Off the record.
We suspect it would not be about the education ministry.
It would be about catering.
Here's the real service Dipke has done this country.
He has finally taught us how to spot a cockroach.
Not the ones NEET aspirants are competing against for a medical seat.
The ones standing on a stage at Jantar Mantar.
Holding a mic.
Talking about everything except the paper leak that started this.
And still don't know who is President of India.
The real students are indoors.
Revising.
Silent.
Unheard.
The stage belongs to everyone else now.
So thank you, Abhijeet Dipke.
You didn't get Pradhan to resign.
You got India to forget why he should.
That takes talent.
@volklub Here in Delhi near my house the IOC pump says that there has been no increase in demand. Hardly 7-10 cars take this fuel everyday. Next to it is HP, where the demand for 95 Octane has picked up considerably
@kkstau It is these stupid dramas that is enabling the government to ride rough shod. As a journalist I do not expect you to understand technical issues, so let us not pretend otherwise.
Now the mask is falling off this cockroach party. This is the exact playbook used by Kejriwal to this date. Today Aatishi was there at Jantar mantar and tomorrow Kejriwal is supposed to be there with his party workers. The takeover is almost complete.
A very prominent journalist came to Jantar Mantar today to cover Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike.
Police officials stopped the journalist and falsely claimed that Sonam Wangchuk was not there and had been taken to the hospital.
Why are the police stooping so low? Why are they lying to journalists and preventing them from covering the protest?
