قامت قوات الحرس الثوري الإسلامي الإيراني بتدريب ودعم مقاتلين مرتبطين بـ لواء البراء بن مالك التابع لجماعة الإخوان المسلمين السودانية — وهي جماعة مسؤولة عن انتهاكات مروعة بحق المدنيين.

أعلنا أمس تصنيف جماعة الإخوان المسلمين السودانية كـ منظمة إرهابية عالمية مُصنَّفة بشكل خاص، وذلك بعد أن كنا قد فرضنا سابقًا عقوبات على لواء البراء بن مالك. وتُعد هذه خطوات مهمة لمحاسبة مرتكبي العنف غير المقيد، بما في ذلك تقارير عن عمليات إعدام ميدانية استهدفت مدنيين على أساس العرق أو الانتماء الإثني.

وتؤكد هذه الإجراءات مجتمعة أن الولايات المتحدة لا تزال ملتزمة بتعطيل جهود النظام الإيراني الرامية إلى استمرار إراقة الدماء في أنحاء الشرق الأوسط وخارجه.

Sudanese General Yasser Al-Atta, assistant commander of the Sudanese army, openly challenged the U.S. State Department’s designation of the Muslim Brotherhood. He said it clearly:

“I am a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and we control everything. The Brotherhood has six or seven battalions fighting alongside us.”

The words came from them before anyone else. The evidence is right there.
