Laws exist because we can't trust the moral intuition of a mob or a vigilante. This civilian woman abuses conductor, beats up kids and is shockingly hailed as " சிங்கப்பெண்ணே 🔥" by Twitterati.

Easy way to test your moral intuition is to stretch it to its limits or change the scenario. For example

1. Imagine if it's your kid getting slapped by some random woman. You don't send your kids on a crowded bus , while having a Benz in your garage - you send in the bus because you have no choice. You probably won't appreciate a crazy lady s "good intentioned" slaps if it's your kid.

2. Imagine you are the conductor - you don't own the bus. You are just a rusty cog in a giant machine. Blaming you for crowded bus is like blaming a doctor for crowded GH. You know people won't listen even if you ask them to board the next bus. You wouldn't appreciate a crazy lady abusing you for things beyond your control.

3. And talking of lady, imagine this being done by a shabbily dressed man. You probably won't be posting 🔥 and calling him singa paiya or something. Morality of an act can't be judged by the gender or appearance of the person commiting it.

Taking the law into ones hands is not a short cut to justice. It's simply an immature demand for instant gratification. Vigilante justice lies on the slippery slope to anarchy.

What bothers me is not the slaps the lady gave, but the virtual claps she got. We have a long way to go to be a mature functioning democracy.

Thankfully the police have arrested the lady.

Vande Bharat Derailment Saga - My Personal Observations: 🚄🚅🚆

1. Whoever placed those infringements on the track must be brought to justice at the earliest as it seems to be a clear case of creating disturbance since our Hon' PM had a rally in Chhitorgarh. Similar thing happened in Punjab & recently a Drone was also spotted near his residence.

2. The person placed so many series of stones which cleared the front guard so was aware of the ground clearnace of the front guard.

3. The Loco Pilot must've had some amazing eyesight & presence of mind to apply brakes precisely in such a manner that none of the stone got crushed. Must be rewarded for it. And for averting a mishap

4. The series of rocks are placed before the rod - Why since that would've caught attention and only someone naive would do it.

5. Stones are also placed after that rod - Fail to understand why!!

6. Anyone with an intention to derail a train relied only on stuff found around the tracks & didn't bring anything with him. I mean, being at the track thought of derailing or had the plan in mind pre-hand. As all the stuff is something found near the tracks.

7. Our Hon' PMs Rally was nearby so was it an attempt to sabotage the same with such stones on the track

8. Railway officials recorded the video but why did they share it with public or release it? Being a Govt. servant weren't they aware of the Gravity of the situtation & especially when the Hon' PM was supposed to be in the region.

9. Between Jun'22 and Dec'22 there were 68 cases of Cattle hitting the Vande Bharat Express. While I do understand that cattle aint stable as those stones & can move but just compare the size of the two. There is no match. Can't that collision have been avoided looking and analysing the precise braking accuracy of Vande Bharat.

10. If #VandeBharat trains can get derailed with such stones, its better a solution is found before plying them on tracks as it can cause huge loss of lives especially when tracks are all laid with stones. Just #Park these #unsafe #VandeBharat Express.

11. There are two videos: One from outside of the train where tracks are being cleared & second one where some portion has been shot from inside the loco and added to the other video. Who must've done it & for what purpose?

12. Last but not the least, with Elections approaching special care must be taken in areas where our Hon' PM is going for campaigning. Indians cannot have any more such situation having seen lives being lost during Pulwama.

The most reputed University in Manipur, the “Manipur University” was stormed on the night of May 3,2023 and the Meitei goons were on full swing hunting the Kuki_Zo students in an attempt to lynch them.
The students had to hide in the jungle throughout the night.

The radical meiteis even burnt down certificates and looted and vandalised their room. Where were all the students when their own classmates and friends were being hunted down? Why didn’t they protest against the injustice then? Why now?

In such a reputed university with modern infrastructure, is it really hard to recognise and nap the perpetrators? What is taking so long for the state govt to take action against these goons?

The new #ModiGovt’s NMC guidelines won't allow the establishment of new medical college seats in South India. This is because these states are already performing well & are now required to wait.

Is it fair that states like #UttarPradesh, with a population of 23.5 crore, have only 9,703 seats, which is 14,000 less than the norm, so others must now wait for their inefficiency? Is this the path to India's growth?

Health is a state subject & #UnionGovt should not interfere in a state's health policy as long as due process is followed.
