Born and raised in Santa Monica, all 4 of my kids were born there, husband born in Whittier, grew up in Long Beach. We fled 6 years ago. We never really planned on leaving, but politics forced us out. I’ve been back 2 times in 6 years, I have no plans to go back anytime soon. It’s sad. The California I grew up in is gone
