Most blockchains are glass houses. You, me, everyone can see wallet balances and transactions. Cool for audits, awful for anything private.

Fhenix is trying to fix that without breaking what makes crypto useful. They built an EVM chain where smart contracts can use encrypted data. The tech behind it is Fully Homomorphic Encryption. Fancy name, simple idea: the computer can do math on stuff it can’t read. Like a chef following a recipe written in a language they don’t understand, but the cake still comes out right.

Why does that matter? Because now you can build normal apps on-chain. A sealed-bid auction where no one snipes your bid early. A DAO vote that stays secret until it ends. Payroll where your salary isn’t public. Games with hidden cards. Stuff we take for granted on normal apps, but has been impossible on Ethereum.

They kept it dev-friendly too. It’s EVM-compatible, so if you know Solidity you’re not starting from zero. You just use special “encrypted” types when you need privacy. The rest looks normal.

The catch: FHE is slow and expensive right now. It’s early. But if Fhenix makes it fast enough, they basically unlock a whole new category of apps for crypto. Less “everything public forever”, more apps that actually feel private.

The Team will leverage the Graph protocols subgraphs to query onchain events, eliminating the need for centralized offchain data services. These subgraphs will power the governance interface by indexing key events such as proposals and votes, and are also need in the Registry Contracts. By Indexing on-chain activities all protocols interactions will be transparent, verifiable and easily accessible by the community. This Approach is critical to maintaining trust and visibility into protocol operation and governance decisions.
