The girl on the right was discouraged. Her mindset was a hopeless. The girl on the left is now. Her mindset is different. She IS ready to fight this flare up. Her comfort is her tribe by her side. Thanks for your love & support. time to kick this flareup in the ass.
10 year challenge. 46 on the left and 36 on the right. Both of me in MS flare ups. Feeling weak and scared. I’ve learned to respect my body, I’ve learned to Listen to my body, learned how to fight. I am still learning how to accept help. This is what 10 yrs of my MS looks like.
Every year I’ve run the @BNMarathon it’s been in support of a cause. This year I’m running as part of the “No MSing Around” team in support of the @MSSocietyCanada Atlantic Division. If you’re able I hope you will make a donation to the effort.

Some days it’s just about getting things done or living your best life. The humidity has been hard on me but I kept busy. Water running 4days this week plus walking. I have been working on getting back on track with @ww_canada. I’ll hit reset as many damn times I need 🙌
This week has been one of trying to figure out a new routine for me. Walking, weight training and water running. A combo that works. Exercising is more than a way to micromanage your body size, it’s a way to care for your body and mind. So here’s to a great new week ahead.
Time to take control back. When low impact or no impact activity is the only choice you have for the foreseeable further and you have no control over what you can do,but mindset helps to look at control in a different way.
When things don’t go as planned. The Nova Scotia Marathon was today in Barrington. But between my back and my hip, I was in pain. a decision was to be made, stop or modify. As upset as I was, stopping wasn’t an option. So I walked. This is what a girl with MS looks like.
