@KristoffsHoe I don’t quite think they will? MagicBands are a surprisingly good way for them to track crowds, thanks to their long-distance RFID chip. Downside: long-distance functionality only works if the battery is still alive!
Independent creators like @NASA working hard on launching a rocket with astronauts to space and then finding that big corporations like @NatGeo are stealing their content. You'd think @ytcreators would have more incentive to stop bad actors from abusing their power.
@Gapminder .. We’ve seen this in SARS (2003), initial mortality rate was 3-6%, but by the end of the epidemic it was 9.5%. We should not take the CFR/IFR and use this for planning surges in mortuaries.
@Gapminder .. As the number of cases grows, the fatality rate will appear to drop as the number of dead takes time to catch up with the number of infected. An individual who eventually dies at day 16 will be marked as infected from day 1, and hence making an artificial decrease in rate. ..
@Baylee_Jae If you'll be letting go of the additional Elsa doll, can I get it? I'm a hardcore Frozen fan, and sadly Disney has cancelled my order as someone using the same forwarder has bought one and that's the limit. :( I'll donate the value of it to a charity of your choice!
@AMarch4OurLives@writdarling As someone who’s fortunate to live in a place without the fear of being shot alive as a child, it is harrowing that a lockdown drill is a thing to train for. Why are preventable tragedies caused by war equipment used in civil society? Can something be done about this?
