@Sumpfeber@rah_66_comanche The fact remains that these temps are record highs for this time of year. You can color in the map however you want, but these temps are abnormal
@AbeWashingtrump@Alissal29083572@bramani6_@whatevs1972@mikeandawldat The point is that your entire "historical accuracy" argument stops working because:
- almost all of the cast is American actors
- and they definitely shouldn't be using words like "Dad" and "Daddy"
But y'all only started having this fuss when a black actor is involved
@AbeWashingtrump@bramani6_@whatevs1972@mikeandawldat American culture is not Greek culture. And American actors do not look like they represent Greek people. I hate to break it to you, but Greece is a lot closer to those brown people you all hate so much, especially because Troy is quite literally in Turkey
Many of the “AI” interventions mentioned here are the equivalent of paying for a gym that has machines that lift weights for you. I don’t mean it’s sort of like that, I mean, in educational contexts, it’s the exact same logic. It’s absurd in its face. I feel like I’m going insane
@BrowningSower@abelsirius@1800clockit Also did we forget that that is literally something kat said to her to explain nates behavior and she is just repeating verbatim to him to try and make the same point *clumsily*
@franchelapilled The scenes that show her being unfulfilled with John aren't there incidentally, they are there for a reason. And that reason is to build a dichotomy between her current behavior and the one coming up with Michaela. From a narrative standpoint she is a lesbian through and through
@franchelapilled The big thing people don't get that it's a show. It's not supposed to reflect life, it's supposed to tell a story. Sure, in theory you could have a bi woman behave the way Fran does, but it makes much more sense to interpret her as lesbian when taking the narrative into account.
