Our ecosystem expansion has one primary goal: increasing profitability.

As the ecosystem grows, more yield becomes available for $ylSPHERE holders, distributed at a variable APR, or vAPR.

But how is this connected to the price of $SPHERE?

Here’s the secret.

When the vAPR rises due to higher yield, more users lock in, driving $SPHERE's price up.

Conversely, if the vAPR falls below a certain threshold, fewer users will participate, lowering $SPHERE's price.

But this also drives the vAPR back up, as fewer of us claim the yield.

This constant push and pull between vAPR and market price creates a dynamic equilibrium where both yield and token price balance each other ✅

With each new ecosystem development, we adjust the acceptable range of vAPR, ensuring profitability for all participants.

The end result?

A more stable and potentially higher market price for $SPHERE, in a mechanism where yield drives value 🦾

Understanding this relationship is crucial for any yield-based ecosystem, especially Sphere.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Despite $MATIC's price volatility, rising platform adoption signals its long-term potential 📈

Limited losses from $USDR's de-pegging and Kyberswap's exploit were key lessons, which pushed us to reevaluate our methods of promoting and incentivizing $STAR liquidity to mitigate risks.

Still, these stress tests proved the $STAR stablecoin's strength 🌟

2️⃣ @dyson_money UI & UX Facelift

We’ve significantly upgraded Dyson's UX and UI with Dyson 2.1.0, focused on user needs.

This included many things our community has been calling for:

➡ Increased mobile compatibility
➡ Simplified navigation
➡ More detailed info tooltips
➡ Instant updates

Searching, managing and sharing positions is now smoother than ever with a blazing fast architecture and turbo-speed loading.

Building on our foundation, the launch of Dyson 2.1.1 soon followed, feature-equipped with a plethora of community suggestions ranging from on-demand insights into yield breakdowns (USD & $SPHERE) to one-click copy functionality for instant sharing.

Bug fixes were also implemented, providing a much more seamless experience for all Dysoneers!

3️⃣ Prioritizing Security & Responsibility

As always, security remains paramount. Upon discovering a wallet connector vulnerability, the team immediately communicated potential risk and implemented patches.

An extensive exploit testing process was done till all threats had been dealt with.

We're dedicated to keeping your assets secure at all times, Sphereans. We'll continue to be diligent in conveying status updates, applying fixes and mitigating threats as soon as they arise.

4️⃣ Treasury Report

After months of tedious effort and tracking, the Sphere Treasury Report for Q1, Q2 & Q3 has finally been released.

The Treasury Report analyzes financials like

🔮 Income
🔮 Expenditure
🔮 Token emissions...

While assessing performance in the fast-paced DeFi environment.

And for more streamlined production of future Reports, we've reconfigured tracking tools.

We strategically stockpiled stable assets as a hedge against market volatility, minimizing risk.

Despite some challenges, we've seen remarkable expansion in 2023 - from new utilities, to upgrades, and a fantastic community.

December has wrapped up, and building and integrating a clear roadmap to real utility has us excited to kick off 2024!
