On the 'Gbewudani' controversy, we have watched programme anchors on CNN, BBC, FOX, etc., use more awful words to describe or call out politicians who represent an existential threat to electoral integrity. I honestly think that correcting or threatening @ruffydfire with a lawsuit on camera by his colleague, Abati, was uncalled for. Usually, anchors and producers do a mini aircheck during commercials, not on camera. The open correction is suggestive and could lead to a flood of lawsuits against Oseni.

No Nigerian should be intimidated into supporting a political party as the price for living peacefully in their communities. In the build-up to the 2027 elections, we are witnessing primitive desperation by politicians who threaten citizens over their constitutionally guaranteed suffrage rights. Security agencies and relevant authorities must send a clear message to this thug masquerading as Council Chairman that ours is a participatory democracy

Residents of Kuje area council FCT will continue to live in fear as no effort has been made by security agencies to hold the council chairman Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo to account, for threatening to unleash violence on anybody who would not vote for APC. His desperate attempt to make voting for APC as the sole condition for living peacefully and exercising civic rights in Kuje is unlawful.

Ahead of 2027 elections and beyond, it is essential that the Nigerian authorities ensure that any politician or other leaders, of any political party or grouping, responsible for carrying out or inciting or threatening politically, religiously or ethnically-motivated violence or human rights abuses must be held to account.

I stopped funding my @myaccessbank when I noticed that they were making all manner of deductions, including a monthly charge for an expired debit card. When they noticed I stopped funding the account, they increased the monthly deductions on the available N96 until they took the entire balance😅
