@usa_retro The fact that L1310 melted suggests excessive current was likely flowing through it. L1310 is connected to the blanking input that enables OSD on jungle. I would double-check to ensure there are no accidental shorts. BA-5 is also particularly sensitive to static damage.
@sararajane@CP24 I don’t think it is what AC is supposed to do, it is the law. Did you take them to the court? You have to do within a year of your flight.
@RoyalFanCanada@Shuayb__@AirCanada You don’t want to get the refund. Get on the next best flight using Air Canada. If they can’t fulfill that, book on your own. Keep record of why they are not able to fulfill. After your trip, submit your claim to AC. If they reject > small claims court. You win! Refund, you lose.
@PattyHajdu Why is our elected officials so incompetent? Why did we let ourselves get to this place? Why is there no competition in this country? Guess who takes all of this pain? Tax payers! Can’t wait for the next election.
@CostasSmirnios@VictorA60597059@AirCanada I don’t want to either, but Canadian citizens don’t have choices. Want direct flights, then good luck. If there were more competition, this strike wouldn’t have been an issue for Canadians. Unfortunately our government encourages monopolistic behaviour - I wonder why?
@CmdrRed1984@ChrisKFilms@ajhcha@AirCanada Commander Red joined Twitter July 2025 (likely commissioned by Air Canada) to spread misinformation. This will be great evidence to submit in addition to the recordings.
@R__Shackleford@Shuayb__@AirCanada There is a well defined process on how to get this. Search on ChatGPT/Perplexity or on https://t.co/hA1IWmbrvy. Do your research, keep your screenshots, request for compensation $1000/per ticket for 9+ hour delay in addition to ticket reimbursement.
@keidow@AirCanada@CBCNews Is your trip > 9 hours late? Air Canada's fault? You also get an additional $1000/per ticket compensation, in addition to other expenses. https://t.co/Cs0kBMN5yd
@keidow@AirCanada@CBCNews Well, if they cancel then they are legally obligated to find an alternate transportation. They want customers to panic last minute, cancel and rebook themselves so they can wash you off. Nice one #AirCanada
@cowfarts77@NBizbess@AirCanada They don't want to update because the moment they cancel the flight, they are legally obligated to find your an alternate transportation. They leave you to the last minute, so you cancel and do something about it to wash you off. Nice one #AirCanada
@AirCanada Whatever you do, do not take a refund from Air Canada. Book the next flight (though it is going to cost more) and get it reimbursed through Air Canada. Leave the original ticket alone!
@Shuayb__@AirCanada Whatever you do, do not take a refund from Air Canada. Book the next flight (though it is going to cost more) and get it reimbursed through Air Canada. Leave the original ticket alone!
@Rob4Ajax@AirCanada How is @AirCanada planning to justify this? Can't believe how they can push the blame to attendants and costs to customers.
Canada needs more competition. Canada should join developing countries, instead of calling itself a developed country.
@sgagne1968@canadapostcorp This is like Rogers saying you have Teksavvy as an alternative. I’m increasingly using ChitChats. I can see why Canada Post workers defend the slow moving Canada Post though!
