It'll be funny when kids of this era grow up to miss the vintage AI look and feel of the early LLMs, image generators, etc.
Just as we feel nostalgic about the pixelated aesthetic/sounds of the 80s/90s.
I'm kinda glad @GeminiApp improved the Thinking version to spend varying amounts of time for different questions...
but did they have to get rid of the Pro option?
I keep seeing articles about how "AI makes engineers less efficient" or why "it won't take our jobs"
ChatGPT is only 3 years old!
In 36 months, AI went from:
🟢 4k context → 10M+ context
🟢 Copy/pasting snippets → Agents editing full repos
🟢 Failing logic puzzles → Solving 60%+ of GitHub issues
I don't know where the ceiling is for LLM tech, but I don't think we're there yet.
