Guys, what should I do now? I bought the 5X plan on Claude and upgraded to the 20X plan on the same day 6/10/2026. Now, because of the Fable 5 issue, the refund link only refunded the 20X upgrade — but it forgot the original 5X plan payment, and it dropped me down to the free plan. Sad~

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

I create the story and mechanics myself and use AI to generate the assets. Only once has anyone called my minigame "AI slop" — otherwise I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on how to improve the game and make it more playful, and people have even pointed me to resources to learn from. I mean, the whole point is to learn and enjoy the process, so I've got nothing against any AI dev. At least right now we have more ways to tell stories through making games, haha.
