One of the most common questions I get from traditional startup founders re: ICMs -- what stops someone from switching their coin to another platform?

At first, this question never made much sense to me. Why would you abandon the very tool that helped kickstart your growth? But, it's actually a very rational and likely option. If I launched a coin for my startup, and already netted the initial traction I needed ($, users), why continue?

With the current coin model, most of these startups benefit the most on week one, and then we see a HUGE drop off in upside every following day. Linear growth pretty much never happens. So if the founder already has everything they need, wouldn't operating more independently be the best business decision? Just as we've seen so many coins migrate out of the Believe ecosystem recently?

Only solution that isn't a legally binding one, is literally just creating more in-house moats (obvious, I know) -- but people really aren't creative with establishing these. There's some really fun things we can do to make ICM platforms SUPER appealing to the people that use them, so appealing that they never want to leave. Yet, no interesting attempts thus far. Thinking @syndicatefndn might be great at cracking this.
