@Michael57092982@Batfox_Pictures@lee0969 The Cardigans and Saint Etienne formed and began making music around the same time (1990-1992). It was actually Saint Etienne who chose to go and use The Cardigans producer and studio to record Good Humor in 1998.
The British Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and King Charles’ Press Secretary (amid a host of other political and media heavyweights) just happily attended Rupert Murdoch’s summer garden party in the UK.
Just in case you’re still a bit unsure why Britain is so absolutely cactus as a functioning nation.

Comedian Ben Elton describes #BBCLauraK's interview with PM Rishi Sunak as "an extraordinary, Orwellian, meaningless, evasive word salad"

@bronze_insave I don’t want them to die, nor do I hate them. But it’s difficult to feel unlimited empathy for the arrogance of people who chose to venture to the bottom of the ocean in a vessel they knew was unsafe with the expectation that they’d be rescued at our cost if it all went wrong.
@FloraSCooper@Ofstednews@Headteacherchat You are so brave and I salute you. I can’t support due to distance and full time working but please know that so many are behind you in spirit. Thank you for defending our profession, our colleagues and our pupils.
If I was worried about people comparing me to 1930s Germany, my next move probably wouldn't be to shut down all criticism on the national broadcasting service
@FaithfulHead@GillianKeegan Absolutely this 👏 we are buying resources from our own pockets. We are failing children with SEND due to staffing cuts and budget cuts. We are on our knees.
@GillianKeegan I’m tired of not being able to afford my bills as a teacher on UPS. I’m tired of the mental ill health of my colleagues and the children due to the inappropriate curriculum. I’m tired of only seeing my own children in the holidays because I work every evening and all weekend.
@GillianKeegan I’m disappointed that your ‘continued engagement’ is nothing more than lip service. I’m tired of buying supplies for students. I’m tired of not having the resources to do my job due to budget cuts (and they ARE cuts in real terms). I’m tired of experienced colleagues leaving.
One of the most sensible takes on ‘cancel culture’ I’ve seen. Sensible, honest, smart. I’m posting the video directly as Times Radio tweeted it with a clickbait and somewhat misleading headline that unintentionally confirmed his point. More of this please.
@paulpowlesland I completely agree with you. I also respect the right of the public to grieve, but when is it the right time to protest about the future of the monarchy if not when the new King is declared the same day as his mother dies without any discussion?
"What I've seen over the last week... a really obvious attempt to use the memory and respect for the Queen to very quickly bolster Prince Charles credibility as the new monarch, and I think thats actually quite cynical in some ways"
@paulpowlesland on #GMB this morning.
