@kuzyforselke@RHeadwines@11Yanks I probably misinterpreted what I heard listening to one of The Athletic podcasts because I wasn’t giving it my full attention (listen during work). Appreciate ya 👍🏻
@kuzyforselke@RHeadwines@11Yanks You’re incorrect. There are two times that YC’s will reset this tournament, once after the group stage and the next after quarterfinals.
@kuzyforselke@RHeadwines@11Yanks The yellow cards that the players get during the 3 group stage games DO NOT carry over into the knockout stage. If a player had gotten a YC in the first 2 games of group, they’d miss the 3rd. But if they got 1 in either of the 1st 2 games & 1 in the 3rd game they’re aren’t out
@SportsPhilly40@RHeadwines@11Yanks If you get two in a single game, yes, but we’re talking about yellow cards accrued during the totality of the group stage (3 games). After the group stage closes, those cards are wiped (assuming you didn’t get a RC because of 2 YC’s in a single game).
@aStrayBullet10@11Yanks There has to be some serious self delusion to refer to Freeman’s goal as offside, when there is literal photographic evidence he was kept onside by a defender.
@AdamSte14059953@usmntonly I admire how dedicated you are to displaying how limited your perspective is, and how little you understand about the sport. I know, I know, you watched a game in 1976… it’s apparent you don’t actually understand the game, and that’s fine. But maybe quit looking like a fool.
@Chelsea_2580@Edvinng@JacobsBen Watching the 2nd leg of Bayern and PSG, it was really interesting seeing PSG just playing it long, or even playing it long in to touch to just bypass Bayerns press. It’s going to be a tough day for Arsenal but I think I can see what Arteta is preparing for.
