@Top100Rick@CuriousAussieX There is no fucking wind. He’s just blaming his caddy because he slightly miss-hit a shot. His Caddy didn’t miss the shot. His Caddy didn’t give a bad wind. This is why there’s a segment of golf fans that can’t stand this putz.
@sullyengels@Chris_Pinson_ Look like they both angled for the foul side of the bag and then simultaneously both redirected for the Infield side of the bag.
@sullyengels@Chris_Pinson_ It’s interesting that people think 220lb+ men
Running at full speed can somehow change the laws of physics and instantly alter momentum.
@UmpireAuditor Wouldn’t fatigue be a factor in missed calls in the later innings of games? I would imagine that for almost every umpire accuracy would go down as the game drags on. But if you’re starting point isn’t that good….
@Gl1tchByt3@GoldyHappens@DamonDawg Running at full speed, they did the most they could to mitigate injury risk. They both jumped in the air, so neither one was driving into the other one they protected their midsections with their arms. And tilted their heads out of the way.
@MarCohan3@LucyTCWife@Nic_Corr@KarenBarbados I suppose the inquest could come back with the actions of the police officers in regard to Henry Nowak increase the likelihood of his death dramatically. If he’d likely would’ve lived with proper police intervention, that might be a mitigating circumstance for Digwa.
@ScottWilli28296@TheEXECUTlONER_ You’re absolutely right he wasn’t avoiding the umpire at all and if he was that was idiotic he should’ve just drilled the first base umpire. In the future, I just hope that this kid runs over umpires in his way. that’s the way you play baseball.
@Mildchild950208@BBGreatMoments I believe that was that particular pitchers first game after joining the Orioles summer of 2024. Could be the catcher and the pitcher, new to each other, weren’t on the same page.
The officers have likely been brainwashed through years of persuasion propaganda. Doesn’t excuse what they did or didn’t do, but they are not the problem’s source. If they had just frozen confused and helpless it could be mitigated, but they’re callousness and action suggests otherwise.
@DaleJohnsonBBC@avioshack If the goalkeeper is standing tall and the offside attacker is lying flat on the ground, but in line with another attacker, jumping for a header. Is a line of sight from the head.
@BennyG10001@Teamgrassroots_ There’s a difference between having doubt and having it be a close call. There’s big consequences either way. There’s two POV’s the attackers and the defenders. The ref is there to make a call, not insert his own POV.
If it’s so close that you can’t be certain that it was outside the box it’s so close that you can’t be certain it was inside the box. Why not give the benefit of a doubt and call it a handball? Just call it as you saw it. Stop giving referees agency. It’s a game changer either way.
@noonecaresss___@espn Correct tennis does it better? Presumably the the most qualified umpire man or woman does each match. My point is it could be worse as soccer proves.
@rafi_sadique@TouchlineX The NWSL in the US is doing this, and it slowed the goalkeepers from faking injuries, though not entirely as a keeper injury still gives an exhausted team time to reset. Now they just have a field player fake injury. League refs usually waive them back on seconds after restart.
