@MikeTheTrader Bad idea IMO. Gamers absolutely hate AI to the point of being irrational. You only need to look at Steam - any game with even a hint of AI is crucified.
@OliviaBuzaglo England were never really confident playing the ball out from the back so struggled to keep possession. Pickford's distribution also needed to be better.
@SteveOnSpeed In the rest of the world, it doesn't cost a lot of money to play. It's literally a way for some kids to get out of poverty. Meanwhile, it seems to be a sport for the middle class in America.
@mountaindewbyok I like the thought of QBs slotting into a midfield role, like a no. 6 or 8. Being able to read the game is essential. Too many are commenting on athleticism when IQ is just as vital. Look at a player like Paul Scholes -tiny in stature but had like a bird's eye view of the pitch.
@LordDurden Not an unpopular opinion. The game has evolved obviously. 'The Mixer' is a good read - the pace of change in tactics has been rapid.
I hate how some teams just boot it upfield at kick off in order to press immediately. It is what it is, but individual flair is disappearing.
@markvalorian Good point risk-reward on getting an education. There's slightly better support systems in place now, but it used to be that players failing to meet to grade at academies would leave without any safety net. Literally sacrificing their education for a chance to make it.
@bowtiedboel@toro__training At the highest level, no team is dominating any other. Just look at how much of a scare Cape Verde and Egypt gave Argentina. If America had the infrastructure to train kids from a young age, you would probably be competitive. You might win a World Cup once every 50 years or so.
@IncomeSharks@Nebraskangooner $TAO is probably a recent example of disappointment. CT was collectively bullish on it until recently. On the balance of probabilities, this will probably lose momentum and fail like the rest.
@Pentosh1 Agree with your thoughts. People just don't want to put in the work anymore. If you train consistently from say age 16 to 26, that's 10 years of building a solid base and developing muscle memory. You can easily get into content shape for a natural show (WNBF, INBA, etc).
