So here's a tribute to Dhruv Jurel with some information.

His mother had to sell her jewellery for her son to have the correct equipment to pursue his passion.

His father is a retired Havaldar with the armed forces and fought the Kargil war in 1999.

Dhruv did not have the money to purchase the 6000₹ kit, he was demotivated by some to continue his career, but he persisted.

For learning cricket, he travelled alone from Agra to NCR at the age of 13. He had no place to stay. Later on, seeing his talent, his coach made some arrangements in the local hostel for him.

He went on to become the Vice captian of India U-19 World Cup team & helped Bharat to reach the finals.

He has performed at all levels from U19 state to national team, followed by Ranji Trophy, IPL, India A, and now the senior team.

So here's an appreciation post for a player who persisted and reached the topmost position.

On a bus, a Christian priest from Kerala sat next to a drunk who was struggling to read the newspaper.
