Heartening to see several Indian-origin immigrants (in #GCbacklog & those who have successfully crossed over the line) highlight the inherent challenges faced by India-born immigrants in employment greencard categories, thanks to the thread from @ankurg90

#BBB - spending bill passed House with Sec. 6K2-5. This was expected.
Don't celebrate until the check is cashed.
@SenatorDurbin sees you as a pawn to horsetrade.
Call 202.224.2152 & demand these sections be sent to Sen Parl for review & stay in final version in the Senate.
Donot tweet and lose your credibility (thinking that you have one ) based on one sided news reports . Farmers agitation is a sponsered agitation with no real cause. That it is allowed to continue causing immeasurable inconvenience to public shows the patience of the government.
@JesusGar Just telling you what they're telling me. My take is that this whole thing is a lollygag, a total dawdle, a dog and pony show by Senate Dems to run out the clock on legalization so they can get back into their comfort zone of inaction, blaming GOP, and hyping DACA.
Deeply disappointed in the Senate Parliamentarian’s decision today, but the fight for immigration reform will continue.
Senate Democrats have prepared an alternative proposal for the Parliamentarian’s consideration in the coming days.
Great explainer on the legal immigration backlog which is not addressed in the current legalization text in the House. Unclear if backlog is part of Dem leadership's argument to the parliamentarian.
