For the first time ever on foreign soil, the Indian People’s Forum ( IPF)UAE had the privilege of organized the historic celebration of 150 Years of Vande Mataram in Dubai as part of the nationwide and global commemoration under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Today, this historic event is trending across national news channels and print media, making every Indian proud.
We may live outside Bharat, but no one can take Bharat out of us.
The celebration was organised under the leadership of Shri Jitendra Vaidya Ji, President, IPF UAE, whose vision continues to strengthen the cultural connect of the Indian diaspora with the motherland.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Shri Arun Singh Ji, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), as the Chief Guest; H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal Ji, Ambassador of India to the UAE; and Shri Satish Kumar Sivan Ji, Consul General of India in Dubai. A special video message from Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Ji further enriched the occasion.

When Thousands Were Stranded, IPF Seva Found Them. 🇮🇳🤝🇦🇪
As the West Asia conflict disrupted travel and left thousands of passengers uncertain about their journey home, IPF UAE, under the guidance of the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India, Dubai, swiftly activated its 24×7 Helpline and volunteer network across the UAE.
Under the leadership of IPF and the dedicated efforts of IPF's volunteers, assistance extended far beyond information and guidance. From transportation, food, accommodation, and medical support to travel coordination and safe onward journeys, IPF volunteers stood beside every traveller in need.
What began as a helpline became a lifeline for countless stranded passengers. This collective effort has been appreciated by state governments in India, acknowledged in public forums, and highlighted by national media.
Inspired by the humanitarian values of the UAE and driven by the spirit of Seva, IPF continues to stand ready for the Indian community.
Today, our helpline remains active and committed to serving the 4.5 million-strong Indian diaspora in the UAE.
When uncertainty arose, humanity responded.
That is the spirit of IPF.
That is the power of Seva
