Frankly, I dont know Prof Ray and I havent spent time investigating his credentials. But I do know he comes from an era when party mattered in appointments and some of the brightest academicians I have known had to exit the city or work in lesser colleges despite sterling academic credentials.

@firstpost There was a time when journalists were offended for such attempts to "please" them. Many conferences in which serious journalists simply removed the press release and dumped the rest. In fact, I thought the unboxing would reveal rich content loaded in. Pity.

Union Cabinet chaired by Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji has today approved the BHAVYA–Rasayan Scheme (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan) for the establishment of three world-class Chemical Parks across the country.

With a total outlay of ₹3,030 crore, including up to ₹1,000 crore Central assistance per park, the scheme will strengthen India's chemical manufacturing ecosystem through world-class common infrastructure, lower logistics costs, enhanced global competitiveness, and environmentally sustainable industrial development.

BHAVYA–Rasayan will accelerate investment, boost exports, promote import substitution, generate large-scale employment, and integrate India's chemical industry into global value chains, taking us another step closer to the vision of Viksit Bharat@ 2047.

A Businessman Shishir Kapoor has exposed the Modi government, highlighting how it is wasting taxpayers’ money just to show crowds at Bharat Tex 2026, which was organised at Bharat Mandapam.
