Just one WhatsApp status yesterday indirectly criticised TVK for taking support from the DMK alliance. I was flooded with messages and had a sleepless night replying to a couple of them. For the rest, I managed to convince them that it wasn’t about Vijay and that I don’t know anything about politics at all.

Meanwhile, my wife is scared to go to the office on Monday. People in their teens, 20s, and 30s are apparently being singled out in schools, colleges, and workplaces for not supporting Vijay.

I’ve never experienced anything remotely close to this in Tamil Nadu.
