I’m excited to share that I joined as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
@RKVR14 Gummidi Nidesh, received his https://t.co/gEBa9P6VB5 degree from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Madras. His thesis work was foundational for establishing the research on metal organic framework in the LDS Lab.
@RKVR14 Abhishek Raj, Dual Degree student with the Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI, IIT Madras and MME, IITM. His https://t.co/yIGyb3lhhd thesis work has helped us establish the optical simulation of exciton-polaritons in 2D perovskites. He will be joining EY from August 2025.
⭐️ Publication alert in Nature Photonics⭐️
We report an ultrastrong coupling in 2D Metal-organic Chalcogenolates (MOCHA). Rabi splitting more than 600 meV at 470 nm observed from MOCHA is much higher than any III-V semiconductor or perovskites in the blue region.
Such ultrastrong coupling in a closed cavity with MOCHA leads to emission linewidth of ~1 nm, which is the narrowest emission matching close to lasing!!
Thank you Deep (@deep29jariwala) for your mentorship and thanks to all our collaborators.
