I’m going to have such a head start this year over last, and last year was pretty good. I hadn’t even drilled a hole in a pipe at this point last year, and now this overwintered kale and chard is gearing up for a big spring. Gardening is always full of hope and promise
It's sure worked for me. Growing food brings a sense of hope, of promise and patience and calm. Then add the sharing of the literal fruits of my labour at the end.
