This week’s supermarket absurdities include @Morrisons who are trying to fob us off with Spanish asparagus (when surely “the best” really ought to be British right now?). Additionally, it was v sad that not a single tomato on the shelves was British.

I tried self checkout at @Uniqlo and it was so smooth and different

Throw all your stuff in a box, it scans everything instantly via RFID, literally less than a second, no errors, tap your payment card, done!

The scanning barcodes of supermarket self-checkouts makes it unusable, the software is horrid, it starts beeping annoyingly

Supermarkets stopped innovating it at v1 and now everyone hates supermarket self checkout, as someone said in the replies 💯

I’ve never seen anything like the A&E at the Royal Blackburn.
Corridors full of people on trolleys. It was like the seventh circle of hell.
My Dad has been on a trolley for 30 hours.
He doesn’t even get proper food. A trolley comes round with pre packed sandwiches.
Horrendous.
