@DoyleMerrick You are showing the kind of leadership we need right now. Strategic and clear thinking. And focused on your community. Thank you. I hope you run again and find success in your future.
Dear @fordnation :
One more time in case the point wasn't clear the first time, you crooked, abysmal liar.
Stop wasting hard-earned taxpayers' dollars defending ridiculous laws that are unconstitutional!
We have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms. READ IT

Who else thinks that the Ontario government should NOT appeal the court ruling which overturned Bill 124…and instead provide nurses & other public sector workers with an appropriate pay raise...now? ✋🏽
So @fordnation has LOST every court challenge and should repay the tax $ of ours he spent fighting them all. Retweet if you'd like to see those $ go to housing/healthcare/education...
NEW: Ontario's Health Minister, when asked about whether continuing to challenge Bill 124 will exacerbate the problem of nurses leaving the sector claims:
"We have not seen a mass exodus of nurses leaving the system."

We fully support @osbcucscso's goal of obtaining a fair deal for their Education Worker Members.
We remain at the bargaining table, focused on getting a fair deal for our Ed Worker & Teacher Members.
We call on the Ford govt to invest in public ed & students in ON #OntEd
There you have it folks, Ontario Conservatives are the first Canadian government to use the Notwithstanding clause to override Constitutionally protected Labour Rights.
Quite a day in Canadian Labour law and Constitutional history.
@ItaughtIsawA@TO_Resident Well they recalled the legislature for an early 5am start for the second reading of the “Bill 28, Keeping Students in Class Act, 2022”. Article 9 lists the fine of not more than $4,000 and that would be per day.
This is just a start, next it will nurses!

Bill 28 (The Keeping Students in Class Act) is not only an attack on our collective Charter Rights, but it also includes some significant strips to the working conditions of CUPE workers. These strips go beyond real wage cuts, as benefits and sick leave provisions are decimated.
#DougFord and @sflecce have $2.1b surplus to more than cover wage demands for 55,000 education workers. These workers have had wage freezes, below-inflation raises for 10+ years. But Bill 28 proves their "Open for Business" agenda trumps education. This is all about union busting
I don't ever want to hear another @OntarioPCParty supporter screaming about defending the "rule of law" and the Constitution when @fordnation and @Sflecce are choosing to break both with Bill 28.
