@stym06 @ishaanpreet Think it same as your ATM pin. The same pin might be used by other but to access your account you need your PIN. Same is the functionality here. To start your rides you need to tell your PIN. Doesn't really matter if the same PIN is associated to multiple accounts.

@trivikrama_k @ishaanpreet If they are regular customers, captains won't do fraud of starting ride with out customer. So no problem even if they remember the PIN.

@Amlace @ishaanpreet You need to remember it or open phone to check that. Imagine you have waited for the bike and got on it and captain asks for a pin. You need to open you phone check for OTP and tell him. Rather if it is a pin you don't need to worry about it

@ishaanpreet Hi @ishaanpreet Thanks for appreciating things around you. I was part of the product team who took this decision of going with a PIN than OTP. Just for clarification, it was not a bug. It was a cautious call. Product and business had a huge debate before thanking this call.
