Pure vegetarian is modern day untouchability; you travel around the whole world, you'll see restaurants that offer meat, veg and vegan options. You'll also see vegans and vegetarians have no issues sharing the table with meat eaters (my blood boils that I even have to clarify this in the 21st century).

Only the castesits in India seems to puke by the smell of meat. Also, don't come up with "preference" argument.
