"'You don’t look sick' is something that many people living with MS hear. Many of our symptoms are not visible for others to see and not every person experiences the same symptoms. It’s important to know that not every person with a disability looks the same." ~ Lina #ThisIsMS
Sometimes the best thing we can say to a hurting friend is simply, “I’m crying with you. And while I don’t have answers, I do have prayers.”
“Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” Romans 12:15

"Looks can be incredibly deceiving. What’s that old saying? Don’t judge a book by its cover. I may appear fine in person & photos, but that doesn’t mean I FEEL fine. I may look ‘fine’ but inside I’m fighting one hell of a monster." ~ arose on Instagram #ThisIsMS
"My biggest struggle is wondering daily, am I good enough? Is this disease going to take over my life? Those are the questions that go through my head. I keep myself strong by running & volunteering as a firefighter. #ThisIsMS: staying strong when things seem impossible." ~ Megan
No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do.
God does some of His best work in the unseen.
2Cor1 this AM. “The Father of mercies & the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort [others] through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” Nothing compares to divine comfort but we cannot pass on what we would not receive.
Jesus has not brought you all this way to drop you. He will not leave you aimless or answerless. He knows what he’s doing. He knows where he’s taking you. You will have what you need when you need it. Not when you want it perhaps. But when you need it. This test is about trust.

"For those who don’t understand why someone ‘like me’ might have a disability permit...I might look well, but I’m going through hell on the inside - head pain, nerve pain, vertigo, fatigue. I don’t look sick, but unfortunately, I am.” ~rrmslife on Insta #MyInvisibleMS#ThisIsMS
“MS fatigue is horrible, it’s not what ‘normal’ tired is. It’s as if someone has stuck a tube inside you and sucked every ounce of life out of you. MS is a lot of asking is this normal? NO. It’s a life of adapt and overcome.” ~ onehellofafighter on Instagram #ThisIsMS
Psalms 57:2-3
I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. My God will send forth his unfailing love and faithfulness.

Disease doesn’t have the final say.
Heartbreak doesn’t have the final say.
Even death doesn’t have the final say.
