Netflixは配信よりも劇場公開を優先するけど、17日間しか劇場で上映しないと言ってるのですね🥺
昔、日本の映画・ビデオ業界で非メジャー系ビデオメーカーがビデオソフトを売るための宣伝として１～２週間劇場公開して直ぐにレンタル店向けにリリースした［ショウケース公開」と同じ考えですよね。
「ショウケース公開」では、ビデオメーカーが劇場に対して金銭的補償をしたりしたので劇場側も納得して上映をしていたという側面がありました。
17日間の公開後直ぐに配信をするなら、Netflixが全国の映画館に補償をする気があるのかしら？
でも、非メジャーではなくて、ワーナーの様なメジャー作品でそういうビジネスが成り立ってしまうとしたら、それは間違った映画館ビジネスになりますよね。映画館というのは映画を楽しみに来た観客が入場料を払って成り立つビジネスですからね。配信の宣伝のための劇場ではないですからね。
時代の流れには逆らえないので、Netflixのような企業が歴史ある映画会社を買収するというのも仕方ないかもしれませんが、長年に渡って培われて来た文化や芸術活動、そしてそこに従事してきた人々の仕事を奪うようなことは止めて欲しいと、切に願うばかりです。
