@GudrunSchreiner @Ing_wer_ In z. B. Frankreich sind Raketen zu Silvester völlig unüblich (und Privatpersonen vermutlich gar nicht gestattet). Dafür richten Städte ein einzelnes, zentrales Feuerwerk aus, das von Profis gezündet wird.
Geht also prima.
@WolfgangOelde@Afelia Auf nur einer Instanz ist es oft wenig spannend. Man sollte Accounts verschiedener Instanzen folgen und sich nicht so sehr selbst beschränken, dann macht das Fediverse Spaß.
@Tim9livesmeow@lcfairbairn@jayn_sand@rebecca_fachner As scientists, we do experiments in well controlled surroundings to minimise the variables that could influence the result.
And for ethical reasons, we do not do experiments on humans without very, very, VERY, extremely well proven, good studies beforehand.
@A_Manifiesta @QFMaxCunctator@HeavyDann@ladyonorato@FinancialTimes Oh, you are that kind of troll or ignorant. You won't understand whatever I explain, I will not pour any further energy or time into that. You are. One of the reasons real scientists are tired of discussing. Congratulations.
@dani_in_the_sea@FinancialTimes Ah, okay, I really thought you only rely on books. Would really have been weird.
There is too much knowledge today out there to read everything on your own. You need summaries like Wikipedia for an overview. When thousands of people work together, the best links persist.
@dani_in_the_sea@FinancialTimes Well, if you prefer to read one book by Lamarck and one by Darwin, that's okay for you. It used to be the way how to spread information.
Nowadays we publish articles and summarise knowledge an pages like wikis with links to sources.
At least in my field of study.
@dani_in_the_sea@FinancialTimes Well. I rather prefer a text written by someone and edited and corrected by thousands than a book by one person. You know, diversity is key. Only one perspective can never give you a complete picture.
But I have the feeling arguments are lost to you, so I wish you a happy life.
@dani_in_the_sea@FinancialTimes Rules and laws defined in a democratic process. They define what is free speech and what is lying, trolling, derailing and tricking people into weird beliefs.
Dictatorships don't need laws and rules.
You are welcome.
@patriot_secret@Fierro604@DruzeSaher@Jerrycogbm@FinancialTimes@maggieNYT Telling people you would be a child porn producer who lives at this address here and needs some shit unloaded at your mailbox is absolutely okay with you, right?
Free speech, my ass. Lying around, I would rather say.
