Hi Aaron! Perhaps you and your boss should educate yourselves on Fairfax County’s Trust policy - which doesn’t allow cooperation with ICE unless a judicial warrant is involved, which is a warrant for a FEDERAL crime, not a state crime like rape, murder, ADW, etc.

BREAKING: I'm told by federal source that the suspect arrested in Fairfax County, VA for the stabbing murder of a mother near a jogging trail in Great Falls, VA is a Salvadoran illegal alien who was caught and released at the border by the Biden admin in El Paso, TX in April 2024. Fairfax County Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos this morning in connection to the stabbing killing of Carmen Lizet Puch on Monday and released a photo of his arrest.

I've also included a photo of Cedillos-Campos from when he was in Border Patrol custody in 2024, courtesy of a federal source. NBC Washington reports Puch was 42-years-old and had a young daughter.

The sister of Di-Quan Hunt, the Dilworth attack suspect, is fearful her brother will be released from jail.

She says her family has spent years attempting to secure long-term institutional care for Hunt. His sister said they have contacted various officials, including his therapist, probation officer, attorneys and judges.

“Asking, please help us. How can we get my brother in an institution? How can we get him medicated? And it leads us back to the same all the time he’s released,” she said.

FIRST AMENDMENT CASE UPDATE

The district court has clarified that I don't have to pay the $800 daily contempt fine for refusing to disclose my confidential sources while our team asks the Supreme Court to hear our First Amendment case.

The court also denied the plaintiff, Yanping Chen's request to raise the daily contempt fines to 5K. The court ordered reimbursement for the fines I have already paid.

This case is much bigger than one journalist, one story, or one news outlet.  The outcome will impact every newsroom in this country and the ability of reporters to protect their sources and do investigative reporting that seeks accountability.   

Yet, critical evidence remains hidden from the public and under seal by the District Court.

At a time when many corporate media outlets choose to settle or pressure journalists to surrender their notes, I want to acknowledge that Fox News has continued to stand behind me and fully support the First Amendment and investigative journalism by paying my attorney’s fees.

I remain committed to safeguarding the principles of investigative journalism and a free press.

I've carefully reviewed your voting record since you came to the Senate in 1997. You voted to confirm all three Democratic Supreme Court justices who reached a floor vote from 1997 through 2025. You voted to confirm Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. You also voted to confirm Merritt Garland as Attorney General. Mr Garland went on to weaponize the DOJ and encourage lawfare against large parts of the conservative and religious right.

Evidently you blindly support these despicable Democrat nominees while you refuse to support highly qualified nominees of President Trump. These choices on your part are disgraceful. You need to resign or retire. You're no longer qualified to serve the people of Maine in the US Senate.
