@jzux When my now late fiancé was in the middle of cancer treatment when I was 22 years old, she would always say “this too shall pass” in response to my TRAUMA. She ultimately got fired for doing these phone “sessions” while she was out with her dogs and not mentally present.

@davidmcreager It’s not for the faint of heart. My late fiancé died of brain cancer at 28. The best thing to do is be there and listen. I liked to ask “what do you need from me right now?” And we watched a lot of dumb fun shows/movies. Snuggles are great too. I’m sorry.

@OfficerEdith Oh boy! My beagle loves used Kleenex and q-tips (extra flavors 🤢), coffee grounds (when he got in our big trash bin & ripped a bag of trash), wall spackling, dry wall, aluminum foil, babybel cheese wax, ground worms at the dog park. He’s part raccoon.

@rachsyme I did canned chicken and white rice for the first few days after adopting my Cannoli. Took her a second but then she ate it all. She traveled 15 hours to get to me and needed that decompression time. Your pup will be just fine!
