A new brilliant invention from RBO:
Branch Managers can’t even sanction leave for officers now.
Yes the same Branch Managers who handle crores of business, entire audits, customer escalations, NPA, recovery, targets, fraud risk, cash management…
but for a simple leave approval?

They must bow down to the “remote controller” sitting at RBO.

What exactly does the RM want?
- To run every branch like a puppet show?
- To make BMs glorified messengers?
- To prove that authority only flows upward while punishment flows downward?

This isn’t leadership. This is ego management.

The message is clear:
BM, you carry the pressure.
BM, you take the blame.
BM, you face the customers.
But leave power? No. That is reserved for the supreme throne at RBO.

If this is the model SBI wants, then let’s do it properly: ABOLISH the post of Branch Manager.

Put a webcam in every branch.
Let the RM run the branch like a video game.

At least that will be honest.
Right now it’s a joke:
Zero power + 100% responsibility = SBI Branch Manager.

This circus of humiliation must end.

If RBO wants total control, then take total accountability too.
Stop turning BMs into powerless statues who can’t even protect their own team from burnout.

Return authority to the branches
or
Stop pretending this is “administration”.

Devendra and Jaiveer Gurjar, two brothers from MP, used to sell milk on a motorcycle. They became rich in just 5 to 7 years by owning:
- ₹2 crore milk chilling plant
- Milk tankers
- 3 bungalows
- Jewellery, branded clothes, shoes
- SUVs
- Agricultural land

They were making fake milk using glucose, urea, refined oil, milk powder, water and even hydrogen peroxide.

Making price: ₹6/liter
Selling price: ₹25/liter

They were raided, milk was seized, and they are in jail. This is an old 7-year story, but even today someone at some corner of India is doing the same, and FSSAI is still sleeping until they see half of the Indian population die.

- Go register with the Secretary of State's office, create a nonprofit
- Then filed to join the food program
- The day after that, they were claiming to feed 5,000 children a day. The children didn't exist
- The created spreadsheets where they just used a random name generator to make up names of non-existent children to show to the state. ‘We really are feeding all these kids,’ but the kids didn't exist, the food didn't exist
