@darren_tv@bbctms@BBCSounds@BBCSport It's not perfect, but giving England a total of 90 to get with ten wickets wouldn't be fair either. If Scotland had lost wickets after the restart the total would have been lower.
@darren_tv@bbctms@BBCSounds@BBCSport The logic is Scotland got to 90 in 10 overs without losing a wicket. England would have had ten overs to get to a total, but they'd have ten batters with which to reach the total. So the total is revised upwards to reflect that.
Sunak’s going to abolish inheritance tax isn’t he? The final reveal. Because that’s what these people do. (Yes I know I’m not supposed to be visiting this cesspit).
@joeshooman@helenpidd Would have been the sensible thing. We don’t need a third railway line to Birmingham, with a fourth (at least) fare structure. It’s the Northern bits that make it worthwhile.
@seatsixtyone Also they massively freeload off the staff resources at other stations (more so than any other toc), while not contributing to “the railway” collective responsibility that exists. They’re very poor with providing any information for their passengers.
@seatsixtyone Do they need to know what it is? Their business model suggests yes, the wider railway suggests no. And there lies the contradiction. And when they have to cancel a service it’s utter carnage. Plus they gave up over 10 days of engineering works (even though they’d sold tickets)
Just completed my 3rd Delay Repay claim in just over a fortnight, am making good money out of it! Considering going full-time as someone who receives compensation from shit rail operators.
Having announced its controversial policy to 'fast-track' Albanian asylum seekers, @ukhomeoffice tells me they won't accept my bid to ask a minister to explain how it will work. However, the press office asks us to "ensure" government lines are reflected in the coverage.
