The ISA Program is an SCLA Capstone Project dedicated to ensuring students are on track to graduate by using in class tutors who Elevate Learning Environments.
ISA is going online! The transition from a traditional classroom setting to online learning is extremely difficult and we are all trying to do the best we can. Here is an article that was a huge resource in our transition. https://t.co/3OHW2suRrH

Today was a very successful class! The students split up and pretended to choke and performed the Heimlich. 🎭 They also practiced the steps to follow if somebody has a seizure. They all did so well! Can’t wait to start learning CPR next month. 🚑 #minimedics#scla#capstone
Our @svvsd_ISA program is in full swing! Shoutout to SCLA Senior Olivia Boettcher for taking this on as her Capstone Project. Instructional Student Assistants make a big difference in classrooms and elevate student learning! #StVrainStorm#leadership@sclacapstone
In response to an anonymous feedback form, a student said that “[My ISA] has made this class better in general in every way. She is fun, but productive, and super nice. She is the reason I have a good grade in this class.”
Come to the SCLA Evening of Excellence on May 6th to hear me present! I will be in E101 at 5:00 to discuss my capstone project and what I’ve learned from being the Project Coordinator. It will also be streamed on my Instagram, so check it out there if you can’t make it out.
Don’t forget about our #TennisThursday event that’s happening tomorrow at Silver Creek at 3:30! You still have time to sponsor a girl on the tennis team for this match against Skyline! @SilverCreekLA@sclacapstone @LLSPenniesRM #LLS
I hope that everyone had a great spring break!
A quick reminder that standardized testing at SCHS will take place on April 9th and 10th and there will be an abridged schedule with 25 minute classes and 5 minute passing periods.
