Why should I buy books now when the half of the semester is over, it should be the students choice to buy new books or arrange from seniors or use 2nd hand books which will save him/her money. Why new books nd then pay 15k forcefully?

Its high time private universities like SRM should show some transparency of the extra fees they charge. In the name of Book Fees & Career Development fees they are charging unnecessary and unacountable money worth 35k per year. And if we dont pay, blackmailing starts from them.

And asking our residential details without telling us the purpose of it .There are many suicidal cases in srm many scam cases because the students are tortured here and if student gets off campus they threat them not to give any degree certificates if there name isn’t mentioned.

We the students of SRM are forced to buy the books even if we dont need it. We are not allowed to buy books from outside market and forced to buy from management which makes enormous marginal profit. And it not done, we are threatened for our academic marks. @Swamy39

The scam takes place generally in Ramapuram campus where they are forced to pay 35000Rs in the name of books and their own created courses. which is 10 times higher than the price if not payed they mark us absent or threaten us to either pay or sit home.
