@DiaryofaSickGrl This is me. My neck is so itchy. I’d never dare change soaps/shampoo/lotions/laundry detergent. Does it mean my scleroderma is getting more active? A sign cancer is somehow back? Seasonal allergies? Can I have one normal day?
@DiaryofaSickGrl I did after my mastectomy bc I was honestly terrified to look in the mirror. Now I just let the bathroom mirrors get foggy before I go in.
Scleroderma makes us more likely to develop cancer. I found a lump in October. Things moved quickly u/s, MRI, biopsy, meet surgeon. Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Double mastectomy 11/18. And bc of scleroderma, we cannot do radiation. Lots to know dealing with Scleroderma and cancer
“The difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude”
Actually the difference between a good day and bad day for me is how much my chronic illnesses decide to kick my ass that particular day
@DiaryofaSickGrl That we can cure ourselves with green juice/carnivore/vegan/anti inflammatory/fasting/yoga/exercise/positive thinking… But we are choosing not to.

Only in Illinois where just a third of Illinois students are proficient in reading and math can Governor JB Pritzker claim “great strides are being made”. This after spending on average $21,700 per students, $2,000-$8,000 more other Midwest states.
Meanwhile, in Chicago on the SAT just 11 percent of Black students are proficient in reading and 8 percent in math while 18 percent of Latino students are proficient in reading, 15 percent in math. This despite spending $30,000 per student and having ONE staff person for every 7.6 students.
